 The owner, Eileen Gideon began the restaurant with her sister 20 years ago in a VFW club. They named it, "Dutch's Daughters", in honor of their father, Fred "Dutch" Onderdonk. Her sister left the business soon after and Eileen chose to continue on alone with the dream of one day owning her own building. The current "Dutch's Daughter", built in March 2000, is the result of that dream. She now runs the restaurant with her husband, Joe. Throughout the dining rooms are photographs of their family and friends who have inspired and encouraged them along the way.  Dutch's is open 7 days a week for dinner. Lunch is served Monday through Friday and we offer a Sunday brunch buffet. Carry-out orders are also available. The menu features fresh seafood, USDA Angus beef and poultry. A children's menu is available as well. Dutch's is well known for quality of food. Our specialty is jumbo lump crabmeat with Crab Cakes being our #1 seller.  The Main Level, open for regular dining, has a spacious lobby, coat check, bar area with television, and four beautiful dining rooms, each with it's own distinct personality and custom fireplace. 
Upper Level dining rooms accommodate private events for 20 to 300 guests in one room. There's no room fee, but a guest check minimum is required. Dining rooms are finished in neutral colors and include wood-carved fireplaces, bar area and beautiful décor throughout. A brochure is available at the front desk featuring pre-selected menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, and beverage service. An unfinished Lower Level will eventually feature a carryout facility, patio dining outside, lounge and cigar bar. Dutch's is handicap accessible, with restrooms on both levels and an elevator. The parking area is spacious and well lit. Nestled in a residential area, Dutch's is located within 3 miles of most local hotels. Reservations are not required but suggested. Dress is casual to formal. |
